Government Grants

We all know the importance of training. However, while everyone agrees that technical training is a benefit and safety training is crucial, most would probably also agree that tight budgets and schedules make it challenging to deliver as much training as an organization needs.

The Canada-Provincial Job Grants are now accepting application forms from eligible employers, pending available funding to help with these situations.

These Job Grants are employer-driven programs that:

• Help businesses and non-profit organizations train new or existing employees for available jobs; and

• Provide more opportunities for unemployed and underemployed workers to receive training.

Below is a list of Provinces which will give you more information on how to obtain the grant in your area:

• Alberta

• British Columbia

• Manitoba

• New Brunswick

• Newfoundland and Labrador

• Nova Scotia

• Ontario

• Prince Edward Island

• Saskatchewan

To qualify for most grant programs, 24 hours is required. All Team Power Solutions two-day courses are 16 hours and one-day courses are 8 hours. By pairing multiple training courses together, this will assist with qualifying a company to apply for these grants.
